I am so fortunate to have had this opportunity to be at ALCOS. I have been blessed with so many wonderful things. I want to thank you as so many of you have become dear friends, not just co-workers. I would also like to thank the management group for all the opportunities they have given me as I have learned so much. And finally, I would like to thank Gene for everything he has done for me over the years and for always challenging me to be my very best.
Please remember that as you travel though this journey that life is short, to forgive quickly, to love truly, to laugh uncontrollably and to never regret anything that made you smile.
Best wishes to all of you both personally and professionally. Please keep in touch.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at ALCOS who took the time out of their busy schedule to assist me in learning so much about the Financial Services department. Everyone was very patient in explaining the various tasks that needed to be completed.
I spent the majority of my time working in Department Three directly with Annette, Meg, Elena and Joanne. Projects I enjoyed working on the various tasks, such as, running illustrations for term life insurance, marketing case prep, and database entry. Working on the term insurance was most rewarding because the work I did went directly to the client. Other tasks that were not as involved were basic projects like filing papers, scanning documents, and many mailers.
The best suggestion for improvement to the internship experience would be to have each intern go out on at least one appointment with a producer from each division. These appointments provided valuable real life experience and helped me see the sales process come full circle. It also allowed me to see the various selling styles between producers. Furthermore, this experience enabled me to see ALCOS as an organization more clearly. Overall it was a very worthwhile few weeks and I’m sure the skills I have gained here will be an asset to me in future endeavors.

This summer has been a wonderful learning experience for me; I would like to thank all the people of ALCOS for making this possible. The vast amount of knowledge I have gained this summer will be a solid foundation toward my career aspirations. The time, in which everyone that I came into contact with, spent not only explaining but teaching me about ALCOS’s operations has been immense. Whether it was binding a presentation or accompanying a producer on an appointment, I was always being educated. I cannot express how grateful I am for this, it truly makes the outlook of every task beneficial.
Being part of this excellent organization, for even a brief period, allowed me to grasp many concepts involving financial and insurance service processes. This would not have been the experience it was if not for the welcoming atmosphere in the work place, which makes the great success of the company evident. What I have attained from my involvement at ALCOS will be invaluable in my future pursuits. Thank you once again for providing me with this tremendous opportunity.

My time spent this summer as an intern at ALCOS was an amazing learning experience to say the least. I learned the basics of insurance, what it means to be part of the business world, and most importantly how to be a team player. I could not have been so lucky as to intern with a more outstanding agency. The people of ALCOS, from other interns right to Mr. LoVasco, have made all the difference. I was delighted to see how employees at ALCOS interacted with each other, management, and clients. To work around helpful people with great personalities day in and day out sure makes coming to work a pleasurable experience.
My job this summer was to help the producers in commercial lines, Mr. Libs and Lori, with anything they may have needed help with. From typing up labels and mailing to riding along on appointments. A few projects that I worked on were the cleaning up of duplicate certificates and the mailing of those certificates to JG squared. I also worked on a filing project that allowed me to assist the office in cleaning up, consolidating, and converting their files into a chosen format.
I feel as though I learned a great deal over the past few months and I am eager to learn more about the insurance business. I feel as though ALCOS is and will continue to be a successful agency and I am proud to say that I was given the chance to work along side the people of ALCOS. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I look forward to see where ALCOS is headed in the future.

Today is my last day here at ALCOS and I’m feeling many different emotions. I’m excited to start my new adventure in California but at the same time sad to leave a company filled with so many wonderful people. From the time I started 3 years ago I was welcomed into the ALCOS “family” and I want to thank everyone so much for the support you gave me while I was getting through school. Your words of encouragement mean more to me than you know.
I have learned so much from my time here and met so many amazing people I will never forget you. I will truly miss coming through those front doors every day and all the conversations, laughs, outings, and friendships. I wish everyone the best and will see you at the holiday party. Have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas!

My experience at ALCOS has not only provided me with a wonderful introduction to the business world but has also taught me a lot about myself. It has provided me with knowledge and skills that I will carry with me on to all of my future endeavors. Everyone here has been welcoming and friendly, which really makes it fun and enjoyable to come to work. I love to tell people about my experience at ALCOS and share all the great things I've learned. I have worked really hard to help contribute to the continuing success of the Company. Thank you all so much for giving me an incredible start to the rest of my life. I will never forget what I have learned at ALCOS.

I believe that ALCOS is a great company to work for and I can honestly see why it was deemed as one of the top companies to work for.
Just 12 short weeks ago I arrived at ALCOS not knowing what to expect. This was my first formal occupational experience, and I will say that I will never forget the relationships I have made here nor the knowledge I have obtained during my tenure at ALCOS. What I will take with me from what I have learned here at ALCOS is unimaginable, and for that I will forever be indebted to this agency.
Once again, thank you very much!

I would just like to sincerely thank all of the people at ALCOS for a truly remarkable experience. Funny how you learn more in two months of real world application than you do in 13 years of tests and quizzes. Each and every one of you has taught me some type of life lesson; whether it be in a formal meeting or just a simple observance in the way you answer the phone. For this, I am forever grateful.
Thank you once again for allowing me to be a part of the ALCOS vision. The fact that this internship not only entailed grunt work, but also incorporated a unique, friendly interaction between co-workers and department managers speaks volumes of ALCOS as an organization. Thank you for creating a working environment full of smiles and laughter, where I could honestly tell people, I am being paid to learn. My experience here will always be remembered as the catapult of my business career.
